The Tiger Factory

A nineteen-year-old woman named Ping Ping dreams of moving to Japan to find employment at an auto parts firm. She lives under the care of her aunt, Madame Tien, who forces her to split her time between cleaning a restaurant and working on a pig farm. While managing Ping Ping, Tien operates a criminal enterprise that involves matching young women with migrant workers to sell their children for profit. The two women share a complex relationship defined by both affection and resentment until Ping Ping discovers the reality of her aunt's actions.

The drama was directed by Woo Ming Jin, marking his second project following 15MALAYSIA. He also served as a producer and co-wrote the screenplay with Edmund Yeo, who also produced the film.
