Nothing to Lose

After overcoming significant obstacles to become a mother, Jada faces a new crisis when her young son is diagnosed with leukemia. Because the legal process for finding a compatible bone marrow donor is too slow to save her child, she decides to operate outside the law. The story follows her desperate efforts to secure a donor and the consequences of her illegal actions.

This French action drama was co-directed by Nawell Madani and Ludovic Colbeau-Justin. Madani also wrote the screenplay alongside Mohamed Benyekhlef and Walid Afkir and stars as the lead character, Jada. David Salles appears as Campos. For Madani, this project follows her work on The Lion in 2020 and Jack Mimoun & the Secrets of Val Verde in 2022.
