Kung Fu Dunk

An orphaned youth trained in the martial arts discovers that his physical skills translate naturally to basketball. After showcasing his abilities, he is recruited by a businessman to join a university team. While adapting to the discipline of the sport and the dynamics of his teammates, he uses his kung fu training to help the team compete for a championship title.

Directed by Chu Yen-ping, the film followed his work on Angel Heart (1995) in his career chronology. The movie stars Jay Chou as Fang Shijie, alongside Charlene Choi, Eric Tsang, Wang Gang, Chen Bolin, and Ng Man-tat. A total of 43 cast members are credited in the production.
