Hermes - Winds of Love

This Japanese animated fantasy drama follows Hermes, who is tasked by the creator of the world to overthrow the tyrannical King Minos of Crete. Supported by his wife, Aphrodite, Hermes engages in a celestial conflict between good and evil in an effort to bring unity to Greece.

The film was directed by Tetsuo Imazawa, marking the second project in a sequence of films that includes Coo of the Far Seas and Digimon Tamers: Battle of Adventurers. Produced by Hisao Maru through IRH Press, the production features a voice cast including Takehito Koyasu as Hermes, Kenji Utsumi as King Minos, and Atsuko Tanaka as Mermaid Delmone. Other voice roles were performed by Chie Koujiro, Katsunosuke Hori, and Keiko Kudoh. Released on April 12, 1997, the movie has a runtime of 115 minutes.
