Unaccompanied Minors

Five children travelling alone find themselves stranded at a Chicago airport on Christmas Eve when a snowstorm shuts down flights and leaves them with nowhere to go. Among them are Spencer and his younger sister, headed to their father's house, along with Charlie, Grace, Donna and Beef. Rather than wait quietly in the terminal, the group sets out to outwit the airport's passenger relations manager and his assistant while trying to find a way to their families.

Paul Feig directed the film, the first in the chronological list of his features, from a screenplay by Jacob Meszaros and Mya Stark. Lauren Shuler Donner and Michael Aguilar produced it for Warner Bros. Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures and The Donners' Company, with a budget of 26 million US dollars. The cast includes Lewis Black as Oliver Porter, Wilmer Valderrama as Zach Van Bourke, Tyler James Williams as Charlie Goldfinch, Dyllan Christopher as Spencer Davenport, Brett Kelly as Beef and Gia Mantegna as Grace.

Released in December 2006, the comedy runs 90 minutes and earned around 22 million dollars worldwide, less than its production cost.
