Serial Teachers

Jules Ferry High School is considered the worst educational institution in France due to its extremely low graduation rates. Facing the threat of closure, the school administration decides to abandon traditional teaching methods. To save the school, they implement a desperate strategy of pairing the most difficult students with the most incompetent and eccentric teachers, hoping that this unconventional approach will help a larger portion of the class pass their final exams.

Directed by Pierre-François Martin-Laval, this comedy was the first of several films he directed, followed by Fahim in 2019, Jeff Panacloc : À la poursuite de Jean-Marc and Mr. Putifar's Wacky Plan in 2023. The screenplay was written by Martin-Laval and Mathias Gavarry. The ensemble cast includes Christian Clavier, Isabelle Nanty, Kev Adams, François Morel, and Arnaud Ducret, with Martin-Laval also appearing in the film.

Produced by UGC with a budget of 12 million USD, the film earned 33 million USD at the worldwide box office. Audience reception was mixed, as reflected in the ratings, with a score of 5.2/10 from 4,700 votes on IMDb and 5.4/10 from 1,261 votes on TMDB.
