I'm Dangerous Tonight

A cursed piece of ancient Aztec fabric ends up in the hands of a young college student named Amy, who decides to sew a dress from it. The cloth was once used in sacrificial rites, and it carries a spell that strips away the inhibitions and moral restraint of anyone who wears it. Amy soon discovers that each time she puts the dress on, her personality darkens and her behaviour turns increasingly reckless and violent, while a professor fills in the origins of the material.

Tobe Hooper directed the film, which sits as the eighth of the fifteen features he made, following Invaders from Mars and preceding Body Bags. Mädchen Amick plays Amy, with Corey Parker as Eddie, Daisy Hall as Gloria, R. Lee Ermey as Captain Aikman, Natalie Schafer as Grandmother and Jason Brooks as Mason. It is a television horror thriller produced by Bruce Lansbury and Philip John Taylor for MCA Television Entertainment, BBK Productions and Coastline Partners, running 88 minutes.

The film was released in August 1990. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5 out of 10 from around 1,100 votes, while on TMDB its rating is 4.9 out of 10 from a much smaller pool of 29 votes, indicating a modest and mixed response from viewers.
