Kang Han-na has a remarkable singing voice and a weight problem, and the two facts of her life are in direct conflict. She works behind the scenes as the uncredited voice for a popular female pop star who cannot actually sing, while nursing feelings for the producer, Sang-jun. After overhearing a humiliating and cynical assessment of herself, she disappears for a year of drastic dieting and cosmetic surgery, then re-emerges under a new identity to pursue stardom on her own terms. The film follows her rise and the strain of maintaining a secret that could undo everything.
