3 Days to Kill

Ethan Renner is a veteran secret agent who learns he is terminally ill and decides to step away from his dangerous work to repair his relationship with his estranged wife and teenage daughter. Before he can leave, he is offered an experimental drug that could save his life in exchange for one final assignment. He accepts, and finds himself torn between hunting a ruthless terrorist, looking after his daughter for the first time in years while her mother is away, and coping with disturbing hallucinations brought on by the treatment.

The film is directed by McG, arriving in the middle of a run that began with Charlie's Angels in 2000 and continued through This Means War in 2012, with The Babysitter and later titles following it. Luc Besson and Adi Hasak wrote the screenplay, and Besson produced alongside Virginie Besson-Silla and Ryan Kavanaugh. Kevin Costner plays Ethan, with Amber Heard as Agent Vivi Delay, Hailee Steinfeld as his daughter Zooey, Connie Nielsen as his wife Christine, and Tómas Lemarquis and Richard Sammel as the antagonists.
