Dom Hemingway

Dom Hemingway has spent twelve years in prison for refusing to inform on the criminals he worked for. Now released, the skilled safecracker returns to London determined to collect what he believes he is owed for his silence. Reunited with his old partner Dickie, he goes after the money from their last job, which is in the hands of his former boss, Mr. Fontaine. Dom's approach to claiming his reward is anything but diplomatic, and his temper turns the situation against him. Jude Law plays Dom, with Demián Bichir as Fontaine, Richard E. Grant as Dickie and Emilia Clarke as Dom's daughter Evelyn.

The film was directed by Richard Shepard, who also wrote the screenplay. It is the fifth of the six features he has directed, arriving between The Hunting Party and The Perfection, and it was produced by Jeremy Thomas and Nick O'Hagan.

Released in 2013, the British production runs 93 minutes and mixes crime, comedy and drama. Made for about 7 million dollars, it took roughly 1 million dollars at the worldwide box office. On IMDb it holds 6.1 out of 10 from around 28,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 5.8 from 556 votes. A critics' rating of 6 out of 10 from 126 reviews places it close to the audience scores.
