Tunnel Rats
Short description
Set during the Vietnam War, this action drama follows a specialized American combat unit tasked with hunting Viet Cong soldiers. The soldiers must enter a vast network of underground tunnels beneath the jungle to engage in close-quarters combat. While the unit navigates the subterranean labyrinth and faces traps and enemy partisans, their base on the surface comes under attack.
The film was written and directed by Uwe Boll, marking the ninth of 20 films he directed. It follows his work on Far Cry and precedes Rampage. The cast is led by Michael Paré as Sergeant Vic Hollowborn, alongside Wilson Bethel, Brandon Fobbs, Rocky Marquette, Nate Parker, and Mitch Eakins. A joint production between Germany and Canada, the movie was made with a budget of 8 million USD.
