Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter

A year after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger, British agent Peggy Carter works for the Strategic Scientific Reserve, analysing data and breaking codes. She is the only woman in the office, and her boss, John Flynn, has kept her off field assignments since she was transferred, convinced that women do not belong in secret intelligence. When she is alone in the office late one night, a lead on the mysterious Zodiac comes in, and she decides to act on it herself rather than pass it along.

The short film is a Marvel Studios production directed by Louis D'Esposito, following his earlier One-Shot Item 47, from a screenplay by Eric Pearson and produced by Kevin Feige. Hayley Atwell reprises the title role, with Bradley Whitford as Flynn, Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark and Neal McDonough as Dum Dum Dugan; Chris Evans appears through archive footage as Steve Rogers. Kevin Feige produced.

At fifteen minutes, it sits among the studio's short films rather than its features. On IMDb it holds a rating of 7.4 from around 16,000 votes, and on TMDB 7.3 from roughly 945 votes, indicating a consistently positive response from viewers on both platforms.
