Descent

Descent is a drama and thriller about Maya, a university student whose life is derailed after she is brutally assaulted by a peer named Jared. Following a period of trauma and recovery, Maya finds employment as a dancer. When she eventually encounters her attacker again, she transforms her grief into a focused desire for revenge, pursuing a calculated plan to turn the tables on her predator.

Directed by Talia Lugacy, the film features Rosario Dawson in the lead role as Maya, alongside Chad Faust as Jared. Dawson also served as a producer on the project, which was produced by City Lights Pictures, M.E.G.A. Films, and Trybe Films in the United States. The production included a credited cast of 31 performers, including Vanessa Ferlito and Marcus Patrick.
