Justice League: War

Justice League: War is an animated action film in which Earth comes under attack from an alien armada commanded by Darkseid, the ruler of Apokolips. As mysterious abductions spread and strange devices surface, Batman and Green Lantern cross paths while investigating the same creature, a Parademon. They are soon joined by Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg and Shazam, and the film follows their uneasy efforts to work as one force against the invasion. The group does not come together smoothly; the heroes clash over methods and trust before they can confront the threat together. The story draws on the classic DC Comics superhero team and the formation of the Justice League.

The film was directed by Jay Oliva, the ninth of thirteen features he has directed in chronological order, following Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (2013) and preceding Batman: Assault on Arkham (2014). Heath Corson wrote the screenplay, and James Tucker produced it for DC Entertainment, DC Comics and Warner Bros. Animation. The voice cast includes Michelle Monaghan as Wonder Woman, Alan Tudyk as Superman, Sean Astin as Shazam, Shemar Moore as Cyborg, Christopher Gorham as The Flash and Justin Kirk as Green Lantern, among twenty-four credited cast members. Made for about 4 million USD, it took roughly 5 million USD worldwide. On IMDb it holds 7.2/10 from 40,000 votes, and on TMDB 7.4/10 from 1,209 votes, with viewers rating it favourably.
