Horrible Bosses 2

Nick, Dale and Kurt have left their old jobs behind and started a company of their own, only to see a smooth-talking investor pull the rug out from under them. With no money, no legal options and the business slipping away, the three friends hatch a reckless plan: abduct the investor's grown son and demand control of their company as ransom. The scheme brings them back into contact with figures from their past, including Dale's former employer, dentist Julia Harris, and their old adversary Dave Harken.

Sean Anders directed and co-wrote the screenplay with John Morris. It is the third film he directed, following Sex Drive and That's My Boy and preceding Daddy's Home, and it continues the story begun in Horrible Bosses. Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day return as the central trio, with Jennifer Aniston back as Julia Harris. Chris Pine appears as Rex Hanson, the investor's son, and Christoph Waltz plays the investor, Bert Hanson.

Released in 2014, the comedy runs 108 minutes and was made for about 42 million dollars, going on to take roughly 108 million worldwide. Audience response was moderate: on IMDb it holds 6.3 from about 193,000 votes and on TMDB 6.2 from roughly 4,500 votes. A critics' rating of 4.6 from 154 reviews sits below both audience figures.
