The Road Within

Vincent is a young man with Tourette's Syndrome who struggles with his relationship with his politician father following the death of his mother. After being sent to a medical facility, he meets Marie, who is treating an eating disorder, and Alex, who deals with obsessive-compulsive disorder. The three form a bond and escape the clinic to travel toward the ocean, where Vincent intends to scatter his mother's ashes. Along the way, they face various challenges while being pursued by the facility's head doctor and Vincent's father.

Directed and written by Gren Wells, this was the first of two films he directed, followed by Dear Zoe in 2022. The movie features a cast including Robert Sheehan, Dev Patel, Zoë Kravitz, Robert Patrick, and Kyra Sedgwick.
