A Howling in the Woods

A disillusioned housewife spends a vacation in a forested area, where she becomes unsettled by her husband's persistent demands that they return home. Her anxiety grows as she hears a mysterious howling sound during the night.

This 1971 American television movie was produced by Universal Pictures and NBC. Directed by Daniel Petrie, it is the fourth film in his chronological body of work, following The Idol. The cast features Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman as Liza and Eddie Crocker, alongside John Rubinstein, Vera Miles, Tyne Daly, and Ruta Lee. Douglas Benton served as the producer for the horror and mystery production.
