Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead

Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead picks up after the events of the first film, with Martin the sole survivor of an encounter with a company of undead Nazi soldiers in the Norwegian mountains. While recovering in hospital, he learns that the doctors have attached the wrong arm during surgery, and that the zombie colonel Herzog and his troops are still pursuing their mission. Martin tries to raise his own force to stop them, and finds help from a trio of American enthusiasts who specialize in killing the living dead, as the conflict moves toward a small town.

Tommy Wirkola directed and co-wrote the film with Stig Frode Henriksen and Vegar Hoel, who also plays Martin. It followed Wirkola's Dead Snow and Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, and it came before What Happened to Monday, The Trip, Violent Night, Spermageddon, Violent Night 2 and Thrash. The cast includes Ørjan Gamst as Herzog, Jocelyn DeBoer, Martin Starr, Ingrid Haas and Stig Frode Henriksen, with 35 credited performers. It is a co-production between the United Kingdom, Iceland, Norway and the United States, running 100 minutes.
