Zombeavers

A group of college friends heads to a secluded cabin by a lake for a weekend of partying, drinking and hooking up. Their plans fall apart when they come under attack from a horde of aggressive beavers. The animals are not ordinary rodents: anything bitten by one of them turns into a zombie with oversized teeth, so killing a single creature only adds to the danger. Cut off at the cabin, the friends have to fight for their lives against the growing swarm.

Zombeavers is a 2014 American action comedy horror film directed by Jordan Rubin, who wrote the screenplay with Al Kaplan and Jon Kaplan. It was Rubin's first feature as director, followed by The Drone in 2019. The cast includes Rachel Melvin, Cortney Palm, Lexi Atkins, Hutch Dano, Jake Weary and Peter Gilroy. Chris Bender, J.C. Spink and Evan Astrowsky produced the film, which runs 77 minutes.

On IMDb it holds a rating of 4.8 from around 23,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 5 out of 10 from roughly 800 votes. A critics' rating of 5.8 from 36 reviews is somewhat higher than the audience scores, though all three sit in mixed territory.
