My Summer in Provence

Three siblings from Paris travel to Provence to spend the summer with their grandfather, Paul, whom they have never met due to a family dispute. Their arrival follows the news that their father is leaving the home. The teenagers, including a younger brother who is deaf from birth, initially clash with their grandfather, whom they perceive as rigid. As the summer progresses, Paul's turbulent history from the 1970s comes to light, and the different generations begin to influence and change one another through their shared experiences in the countryside.

The film was written and directed by Roselyne Bosch, following her previous work on Animal and The Round Up. It stars Jean Reno as the grandfather, alongside Chloé Jouannet, Hugo Dessioux, and Lukas Pelissier as the grandchildren, with Anna Galiena and Aure Atika also appearing in the cast. Produced by Gaumont, France 2 Cinéma, and Légende Films, the movie earned 5 million USD at the worldwide box office. On TMDB, the film has a rating of 6.3/10 based on 329 votes.
