A group of friends heads to a remote cabin for a weekend away, only for their trip to become a struggle to survive. Their plans are interrupted when something crashes in the woods nearby, and the friends discover an alien spacecraft whose occupants have not come in peace. The visitors return in greater numbers, and a local man named Travis reveals that the government has long known about the aliens and reached an understanding with them. That knowledge comes too late for the friends, some of whom end up aboard the invaders' ship.
Colin Minihan directed and wrote the screenplay with Stuart Ortiz. It followed Minihan's 2011 film Grave Encounters and preceded What Keeps You Alive (2018) and Coyotes (2025). Brittany Allen leads the cast as April, alongside Melanie Papalia, Jesse Moss, Anja Savcic, Sean Rogerson and Emily Perkins. Made for about 3 million dollars, the Canadian-American production was released in October 2014 and runs 101 minutes.
The film sits modestly across the ratings available. On IMDb it holds 5 out of 10 from around 18,000 votes, and on TMDB it has 5.6 out of 10 from roughly 593 votes. A critics' rating of 4.4 out of 10 from 40 reviews places professional response below the audience scores, though both remain mixed at best.
