Puppet Master 4

Puppet Master 4 follows Rick Myers, a young scientist working on artificial intelligence who moves into an empty hotel to concentrate on his research. In the attic he finds the trunk left behind by the puppeteer André Toulon, and the material inside allows him to bring Toulon's puppets back to life. At the same time, the ancient Egyptian demon Sutekh decides that the secret behind Toulon's magic must stay hidden, and sends his monstrous, gremlin-like servants, the Totems, to recover it. Rick and the puppets, among them Blade, Tunneler and Pinhead, are drawn into the conflict.

The film is the fourth entry in the Puppet Master series and was directed by Jeff Burr. It followed Stepfather 2 (1989) and Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990) in his filmography, and preceded Puppet Master 5 (1994), Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings (1995) and Alien Tornado (2012). Charles Band produced, and the screenplay was written by Jo Duffy, Douglas Aarniokoski and Keith S. Payson. Gordon Currie plays Rick, with Chandra West, Ash Adams, Teresa Hill, Guy Rolfe and Felton Perry in supporting roles. The film runs 79 minutes and was released on 24 November 1993. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.1/10 from around 4,300 votes, and on TMDB a rating of 5.6/10 from about 149 votes.
