Greenberg

Roger Greenberg, a carpenter in New York who once played in a band, travels to Los Angeles to stay in his younger brother's house while the family is away. He does not drive, so he depends on others to get around, and he spends much of his time reconnecting with old friends, including a former girlfriend, Beth, and his old bandmate Ivan. Florence Marr, his brother's personal assistant, is an aspiring singer who keeps looking after the house and the dog. She and Roger, both unhappy and uncertain about their lives, gradually form a close and uneasy bond.

Noah Baumbach directed and wrote the film, his fifth feature as director, following Margot at the Wedding and preceding Frances Ha. Ben Stiller plays Roger, Greta Gerwig plays Florence, and Rhys Ifans plays Ivan; Jennifer Jason Leigh, who also produced with Scott Rudin, appears as Beth, with Mark Duplass and Merritt Wever in supporting roles.

The film was released in March 2010 and runs 107 minutes. It was made for about 25 million dollars and took in roughly 6 million worldwide, a return well below its cost. On TMDB it holds a rating of 5.9 from 642 votes, indicating a modest audience response.
