Eden

Eden follows Paul Vallée, a young man drawn into the Paris nightlife of the early 1990s. Passionate about music, he and his friend Stan form a DJ duo called Cheers, starting out at small house parties and modest clubs before gaining wider recognition. As their reputation grows, Paul throws himself into the life that comes with it, moving between performances, relationships and drug use, while an American woman named Julia becomes part of his world. His commitment to music gradually takes precedence over building anything outside it.

The film is directed by Mia Hansen-Løve, who wrote the screenplay with Sven Hansen-Løve. It is the first of the films she directed, followed by Things to Come, Bergman Island and One Fine Morning. Félix de Givry leads the cast as Paul, alongside Pauline Étienne, Vincent Macaigne, Golshifteh Farahani, Hugo Conzelmann and Greta Gerwig. Eighty-two cast members are credited.
