Preggoland

Preggoland is a Canadian comedy and drama about Ruth, a 35-year-old supermarket cashier who lives with her father and spends much of her time partying. After ruining a baby shower while intoxicated, she is shunned by her former high school friends, who have all started families. When a misunderstanding leads people to believe she is pregnant, Ruth finds herself welcomed back into her social circle. She decides to maintain the lie to enjoy the benefits of being accepted, though keeping up the deception becomes increasingly difficult over time.

The film was directed by Jacob Tierney, following his 2010 work The Trotsky. The screenplay was written by Sonja Bennett, who also stars as Ruth. The cast includes James Caan, Danny Trejo, Paul Campbell, Laura Harris, and Jared Keeso. Produced by Gravitas Ventures, Mongrel Media, Collingwood Management, and Optic Nerve Films, the movie has a runtime of 109 minutes.
