Short description
Stone (the Antichrist) becomes President of the European Union and uses his seat of power to dissolve the United Nations and create a one world government called the World Union. Megiddo is a supernatural ride into a world teetering on the edge of the Apocalypse. It follows the rise of a Machiavellian leader bent on amassing the armies of the world for the battle of Armageddon while calamities of Biblical proportions pummel the Earth.
What's left behind the scenes
- In the scenes where 21-year-old Alexander Stone meets his father at the military boarding school, he is about five centimeters taller than him. Yet decades later, for some reason, Stone becomes much shorter—about five centimeters shorter than his father.
- There is one tactical error in the film. By law, the President and Vice President of the United States are not permitted to fly on the same aircraft.
- The film was shot in Israel (Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Megiddo), the USA (Los Angeles), and the capitals of Spain, Kenya, Italy, and Chile.
- Throughout the entire film, the name Jesus Christ is never mentioned. He is vaguely referred to as the 'Nazarene'.
