Revolt

Revolt is a science fiction action film set in an African landscape devastated by a large-scale alien invasion. The story follows an American soldier and a French aid worker who form an alliance to survive against technologically superior extraterrestrial forces. As they travel through the war-torn countryside in search of safety, their relationship is tested by the dangers of a collapsing world.

Directed by Joe Miale, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Rowan Athale, the film features Lee Pace and Bérénice Marlohe in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Jason Flemyng, Sibulele Gcilitshana, Wandile Molebatsi, and Sekoati Tsubane. Produced by Voltage Pictures and several other companies, the project was made with a budget of 4 million USD.
