Short description
In the future, medical technology has advanced to the point where people can buy artificial organs to extend their lives. But if they default on payments, an organization known as the Union sends agents to repossess the organs. Remy is one of the best agents in the business, but when he becomes the recipient of an artificial heart, he finds himself in the same dire straits as his many victims.
What's left behind the scenes
- When the characters played by Jude Law and Forest Whitaker are watching television, a sketch by the British comedy group "Monty Python" about organ harvesters is shown.
- In the film, the protagonist tells a story about a cat that was “both alive and dead.” Schrödinger's cat is a thought experiment proposed by one of the creators of quantum mechanics, Erwin Schrödinger, in 1935.

- Forest Whitaker studied the Filipino martial art of Pekiti-Tirsia Kali under masters Dan Inosanto and Richard Bustillo (1942-2017) for several years. He applies the skills he acquired in this way in some fight scenes.
