Obsession

Simone and her husband Eric move to the south of France with their two children after she inherits a dilapidated estate. While the couple works to renovate the property into a guesthouse or hotel, Simone begins a secret romantic affair with a younger man working on the house. This forbidden relationship creates turmoil and threatens the stability of her family life as her initial dreams for a new start transition into a chaotic situation.

Directed by Antoinette Beumer, this production followed her 2010 film Loft. The cast features Loes Haverkort as Simone, Mark van Eeuwen as Eric, and Pierre Boulanger as Michel.
