Judas & Jesus

This adult animated comedy offers an alternative take on the biblical story of Judas and Jesus. The narrative casts Judas, a black goat, as the protagonist and Jesus, a white sheep, as the antagonist. The two have been in conflict since they were children. The plot centers on Judas deciding to betray Jesus for 30 euros to pay for admission to a sex show hosted by Maria Magdalena, though this plan faces opposition from the followers of Jesus.

The film was produced in Germany by Distant Dreams Filmproduktion and released on June 9, 2008. It was directed by Olaf Encke and Claudia Romero, with a screenplay written by Olaf Encke. The voice cast features Friedemann Encke as Jesus, Olaf Encke as Judas, and Sandra Pfeiffer as Maria Magdalena, supported by Klaus Hensheid and Peter Kock. The short film has a runtime of 15 minutes and involved a credited crew of 57 people.

Audience reception has been generally positive. The film holds a rating of 7/10 on IMDb based on 642 votes, while on TMDB it has a rating of 6.6/10 from 24 votes.
