Free Willy: Escape from Pirate's Cove

A young girl from Australia travels to South Africa to spend the summer with her grandfather, who owns a declining amusement park. While there, she finds a stranded baby orca in a nearby lagoon and forms a bond with the animal, naming him Willy. The girl works to return the whale to its pod, while facing opposition from a greedy rival who wants to capture the creature for profit in a theme park.

This adventure drama was written and directed by Will Geiger, following his 1997 film Ocean Tribe. The production was a collaboration between companies in the United States and South Africa. The cast features Bindi Irwin and Beau Bridges.
