The Forbidden Legend: Sex & Chopsticks

Based on the classic Chinese novel Jin Ping Mei, this story takes place between 1111 and 1127. It follows Simon, a wealthy man of high social standing who struggles to maintain stable relationships due to his pursuit of multiple women. Despite his marriage to Moon, Simon continues to seek out other partners and schemes to marry again to satisfy his desires.

The film was directed by Cash Chin Man-Kei, who also wrote the screenplay. In the director's career, this production follows 1941 Hong Kong on Fire, Sex and Zen II, and The Fruit Is Swelling, and precedes The Forbidden Legend: Sex & Chopsticks 2. Produced by Wong Jing, the cast features Oscar Lam Wai-Kin as Simon Qing, Hikaru Wakana as Moon, and Kaera Uehara as Violetta. Other cast members include Norman Chui Siu-Keung, Serina Hayakawa, and Minami Matsuzaka.
