Detour

Harper is a law student grieving for his mother, who is in a coma following a car accident. Convinced that his stepfather is responsible for the crash, Harper spends a night drinking at a bar where he meets a man named Johnny. In his intoxicated state, Harper agrees to pay Johnny 20,000 dollars to kill his stepfather. The following morning, Harper is forced to travel toward Las Vegas with Johnny and his girlfriend, Cherry, to carry out the plot. The trip quickly devolves into a violent situation as the group faces unexpected dangers.
