The New Kid

Benoît is a new student who struggles to fit in at his school, where he becomes a target for a group of arrogant, popular boys. Hoping to gain social status and reconnect with Johanna, a Swedish classmate he admires, Benoît follows his uncle's advice and throws a large party for the entire class. Although most students decline to attend, he forms an unexpected bond with the three classmates who do show up.

This French comedy was written and directed by Rudi Rosenberg, marking the first of two films he has directed as of 2026. The movie features Réphaël Ghrenassia in the lead role as Benoît, alongside a supporting cast that includes Johanna Lindstedt, Joshua Raccah, Géraldine Martineau, Guillaume Cloud-Roussel, and Max Boublil.
