Taylor Swift: The 1989 World Tour - Live is a concert film drawn from the Australian leg of the singer's world tour in support of her album 1989. Shot at ANZ Stadium in Sydney before a crowd of 76,000, it presents a full performance from the run while also including rehearsal material, behind-the-scenes footage and appearances by special musical guests. The tour itself began in Japan in May 2015 and concluded in Australia that December, and the film arrived on Apple Music shortly after the tour ended.
Jonas Åkerlund directed, placing the film between Small Apartments and Lemonade in his directing credits. Violaine Etienne and Scott Horan produced for Serial Pictures and FINCH, with Australia and the United States among the production countries. Taylor Swift appears as herself, and the credited cast of 129 includes guest performers such as Mick Jagger, Wiz Khalifa, Ally Brooke, Camila Cabello and Dinah Jane. The film runs 132 minutes.
Audience response has been strong. On IMDb it holds 8.7 out of 10 from around 2,700 votes, and on TMDB it sits at 8.4 out of 10 from roughly 158 votes, a small but clearly favourable sample. The gap in vote numbers reflects the film's narrower reach as a streaming concert release rather than a theatrical feature.
