Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer's Llamas is a half-hour animated comedy from Aardman. While the Farmer and Bitzer are at a county fair, Shaun sneaks off and comes across a livestock auction where three llamas are up for sale. Through a trick, Shaun gets the Farmer to buy them. Back at the farm, Shaun is pleased with his prank and tries to convince the flock that the newcomers will bring something new to the yard. It starts out as fun, but the llamas' mischief soon grows beyond anyone's control, and Shaun has to act to get rid of them, leading to chases, rooftop scrambles and falls.
The film is directed by Jay Grace, from a screenplay by Lee Pressman, Richard Starzak and Nick Vincent Murphy, and produced by John Woolley and Paul Kewley. Justin Fletcher voices Shaun, with John Sparkes as the Farmer and Bitzer, Sean Connolly as Hector, and Chris Grimes as Fernando and Raul, alongside additional voices by Kate Harbour and Simon Greenall. It runs 30 minutes and was released in 2015.
On IMDb it holds a 6.7 rating from roughly 1,900 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.6 from a much smaller base of 79 votes, a sign of broad but moderate approval from those who have seen it rather than a sharply divided response.
