Teenage Cocktail

Annie and Jules are teenagers stuck in a small town, held back by their parents and by the limits of the place they grew up in. They plan to leave for New York together after finishing school, but the trip costs money they do not have. Jules, the more outgoing of the two, suggests they earn it by performing on webcam. Annie is hesitant at first, yet the income quiets her doubts as payments from online clients keep arriving. What begins as a way to fund their escape draws them further than they intended and brings consequences neither of them expected.

Teenage Cocktail is a 2016 American drama and thriller directed by John Carchietta, who wrote the screenplay with Sage Bannick and Chris Sivertson. Nichole Sakura plays Annie and Fabianne Therese plays Jules, with Pat Healy, Michelle Borth, Joshua Leonard and AJ Bowen in supporting roles. Running 88 minutes, it was produced by Travis Stevens through Snowfort Pictures.

Audience response has been mixed: on IMDb the film holds 5.8/10 from around 5,600 votes, and on TMDB 5.4/10 from roughly 190 votes. A much smaller group of critics rated it considerably higher, at 7.4/10 from six reviews.
