Short description

A serial attacker targets women specifically because they wear red, and he also holds a position of authority at a home for people with intellectual disabilities. When a young resident of the facility is assaulted while wearing a red dress, her social worker decides to take revenge on the man responsible.

Billy Tang directed this Hong Kong horror film, working from a screenplay by Wong Ho-Wa and producing alongside Kimmy Suen Ging-On. It was released in October 1994 and followed Brother of Darkness in the same year, coming after Dragon Fight and Dr. Lamb in Tang's filmography. Lily Chung Suk-Wai plays Ming-Ming Yuk Kong, with Money Lo as Ka Lok Cheung, Ben Ng Ngai-Cheung as Chi Wai Chan and Baat Leung-Gam as a patient at the home. Running 91 minutes, the film centres on the social worker's determination to bring the attacker to account.

On TMDB the film holds a rating of 6.4 out of 10 based on 30 votes, indicating a modest but positive response from those who have logged it.
