Christina, the ambitious manager of a department store, wants to run the company's first international branch in Paris. To prove herself to Victoria, the store's formidable owner, she plans a Christmas display more spectacular than anything the business has mounted before. When her own ideas fail to come together, she turns to Kurt, a talented handyman who has just lost his job and is struggling financially as a single father. Working side by side on the display, the two grow close.
The film is a Hallmark television romance directed by James Head, his third feature in a run of seasonal and romantic titles that includes Once Upon A Holiday, Christmas Cookies and Dater's Handbook. Ron Oliver and Don Perez wrote the screenplay, and Harvey Kahn produced. Danica McKellar leads as Christina, with David Haydn-Jones as Kurt, Deidre Hall as Victoria and Christian Convery as Cooper.
Released in November 2016 and running 84 minutes, the film drew 2,400 votes on IMDb for a 6.3 rating and 79 votes on TMDB for a 5.8. The larger, more enthusiastic IMDb sample suggests a dependable holiday television audience, while the smaller TMDB tally points to limited attention outside it.
