The Dumpling Affair

Franz Eberhofer is a small-town police officer who becomes the primary suspect in the murder of his superior, Commissioner Barschl. The investigation centers on the fact that the crime was committed using Franz's own pocket knife, and the two men were known to be rivals. After his father provides an alibi that secures his release, Franz teams up with his colleague Rudi Birkenberger to find the actual killer. Throughout his search, he also manages personal complications involving his girlfriend Susi and a former flame of his grandmother.
