Jean has spent ten years away from his family and his home region of Burgundy, living abroad with a wife and child. When he learns that his father is terminally ill, he returns to the family vineyard, where his sister Juliette and brother Jérémie have kept things running in his absence. The father dies shortly before the grape harvest, leaving the three siblings to take charge of the estate and face the practical problems that come with it.

Cédric Klapisch directed and co-wrote the film, working on the screenplay with Santiago Amigorena and Jean-Marc Roulot, and produced it with Bruno Levy. It sits between Paris and Chinese Puzzle in one direction and Someone, Somewhere in the other in his filmography, which lists nine features. Pio Marmaï plays Jean, Ana Girardot and François Civil play his siblings, and Jean-Marc Roulot and María Valverde appear in supporting roles, with 22 cast members credited in total.

Blending comedy with drama, the film follows the brothers and sisters across a year of seasons as they argue, reconcile and try to rebuild their relationship while producing their wine. On TMDB it holds a rating of 6.9 out of 10 from 627 votes.
