The Incredible Jessica James

Jessica James is a struggling playwright in New York City who has not moved past a recent breakup and whose career has yet to take off. When her best friend Tasha pushes her into a blind date, she meets Boone, a divorced app designer. The two get along despite neither being ready for a new relationship, and the film follows how they help each other through a difficult period while figuring out what a relationship looks like in the age of social media.

The Incredible Jessica James was written and directed by Jim Strouse, his first feature before 2023's Love Again. It stars Jessica Williams in the title role, with Chris O'Dowd as Boone, Noël Wells as Tasha and LaKeith Stanfield as Damon.
