Short description

A clinically depressed teenager gets a new start after he checks himself into an adult psychiatric ward.

What's left behind the scenes

An adaptation of the novel of the same name by Ned Vizzini (1981-2013) from 2006. The novel itself was based on events from a short period in November 2004, when Vizzini was depressed and hospitalized. In 2013, Vizzini committed suicide by jumping from the roof of his parents’ house in Brooklyn.
The main character, Craig, performs the song "Under Pressure", jointly recorded by Queen and David Bowie, during one of the group sessions.
