Dragon Ball Z: Broly - Second Coming

After being defeated by Goku, the Saiyan known as Broly crash-lands on Earth in a space pod. He remains trapped in a coma within a frozen landscape for seven years. During this time, Videl, Goten, and Trunks travel to a village to find the Dragon Balls. After they defeat a local monster, the noise awakens Broly, who seeks revenge against Goku and his family. While Goku is away, Broly faces Goten and Trunks before Gohan arrives to challenge him.

Directed by Shigeyasu Yamauchi, this action animation is the eighth of 15 films he directed, following Dragon Ball Z Side Story: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans and preceding Crying Freeman 6: The Guiding Light of Memory. The screenplay was written by Takao Koyama. The voice cast features Masako Nozawa as Son Goku, Son Gohan, and Son Goten, alongside Mayumi Tanaka as Krillin, Takeshi Kusao as Trunks, and Yuko Minaguchi as Videl.

Produced in Japan by Toei Animation, Bird Studios, and Toei Company, the film earned 22 million USD at the worldwide box office. It maintains a generally positive reception from audiences, holding a 6.5 rating on IMDb based on 7,200 votes and a 6.8 rating on TMDB from 741 votes.
