Black Tide
Short description
An alcoholic police officer investigates the disappearance of a teenager. As he searches for the missing boy, the detective struggles with a strained relationship with his own teenage son, who is suspected of selling drugs. While the officer views the parents and a tutor as potential suspects, the tutor offers his help with the search, though his involvement raises further suspicions.
Directed by Erick Zonca, this mystery thriller is the third film in the director's chronological list of works, following The Dreamlife of Angels and White Soldier. The movie was produced by Olivier Delbosc and Vincent Cassel, who also stars as François. The cast includes Romain Duris as Yan, Sandrine Kiberlain as Solange, Élodie Bouchez as Lola, Charles Berling as Marc, and Hafsia Herzi as Chérifa.
