I Still See You

I Still See You is set in a world changed by a catastrophic event that tore down the barrier between the living and the dead. Ghosts, described by some as echoes of the deceased, now share everyday life with the living. Ten years after this rupture, teenager Veronica Calder receives a threatening message from a dead friend. With help from Kirk, a fellow student she does not know well, she starts looking into what lies behind the message. Their search takes them into a shadowy realm where the line between the living and the dead is hard to trace, and they end up trying to stop a killer.

The film was directed by Scott Speer, its screenplay written by Jason Fuchs. It sits between two other 2018 releases in Speer's directing career, Midnight Sun and Status Update, and follows Step Up Revolution from 2012. Bella Thorne plays Veronica, with Richard Harmon as Kirk, Dermot Mulroney as August, and Amy Price-Francis and Shaun Benson as her parents. The production involved companies in the United Kingdom, India, Canada and the United States.

On IMDb the film holds a critics' rating of 4.1 out of 10 from 12 reviews, while on TMDB its audience rating is 6.4 out of 10 from 675 votes, a noticeably warmer response from viewers than from critics.
