Short description
Natalie, a New York architect, is cynical about love and stuck doing menial tasks at work instead of designing the skyscrapers she hoped to. After a mugger attacks her and she is knocked unconscious, she wakes to find her life has turned into a romantic comedy, with herself as the leading lady.
The film was directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson, following his earlier features A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas and The Final Girls. Dana Fox, Erin Cardillo and Katie Silberman wrote the screenplay, and Rebel Wilson stars as Natalie, alongside Liam Hemsworth, Adam Devine, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Betty Gilpin and Brandon Scott Jones.
Released in February 2019, the production had a budget of about 31 million US dollars and took in roughly 49 million worldwide. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.9 from around 77,000 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 6.2 from about 3,600 votes; a critics' rating comes in at 6.1 from 182 reviews. It is a Canada-United States co-production from Warner Bros., New Line Cinema, Bron Studios and Broken Road Productions.
