Distorted

Lauren Curran is an artist coping with the death of her child and with bipolar disorder. Seeking a fresh start, she and her husband Russell move out of their home and into an apartment in a modern building equipped with an advanced security system. Lauren soon becomes convinced that something is wrong with the building and its other residents, and she contacts Vernon Sarsfield, an investigative journalist, to look into the matter. The owner of the complex appears to have designs on the people living there.

Arne Olsen wrote the screenplay, and Christina Ricci plays Lauren, with John Cusack as Vernon Sarsfield and Brendan Fletcher as Russell.
