Johnny English Strikes Again

Johnny English Strikes Again follows the bumbling British secret agent after a cyberattack exposes the identities of every active undercover operative in the country. With the agency's network compromised, Johnny, now working as a teacher at a minor prep school, is brought back because his ignorance of modern technology has left him untouched by the hack. Tasked with tracking down the hacker responsible, he has to rely on his outdated analogue methods while confronting digital tools he barely understands.

Rowan Atkinson returns in the title role, joined by Olga Kurylenko as Ophelia, Ben Miller as Bough, Emma Thompson as the Prime Minister and Jake Lacy as Jason Volta. David Kerr directed from a screenplay by William Davies, with Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Chris Clark producing. It is the second feature Kerr directed, following The Harrowing, and the third instalment in the comedy series built around Atkinson's character.

Made for about 25 million dollars, the film took roughly 159 million dollars worldwide, a return well above its cost. On IMDb it holds 6.2 out of 10 from around 90,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.3 from far fewer ratings. A critics' rating of 4.9 from 106 reviews places it below both audience scores.
