Max Matheson is recovering from a car accident that killed his fiancée, an event that has left him both emotionally shattered and physically scarred. His wealthy father, Jack, hoping to give him purpose, installs him as the night watchman at the Mayflower, a luxury department store Jack has just reopened following a troubled past. Soon Max notices a young woman appearing in the store's mirrors, apparently trying to reach him. He cannot tell whether she is real or a product of his grief and medication, and his uncertainty deepens when colleagues turn up dead and suspicion falls on him. Working out what connects the woman in the glass to a scandal from the store's earlier days becomes a matter of survival.

Víctor García directed this 2010 American horror, mystery and fantasy film, the fourth feature in his directing career, following The Cycle, Return to House on Haunted Hill and Frost Giant in the years before it. Matt Venne wrote the screenplay, and John Portnoy, Nick Thurlow and Todd Williams produced. Nick Stahl leads as Max, with William Katt as his father, Emmanuelle Vaugier, Lawrence Turner, Christy Carlson Romano and Evan Jones in supporting roles.

The film runs 86 minutes. Its ratings sit in modest territory for the genre, at 4.8 out of 10 on IMDb across roughly 14,000 votes, and 5.5 out of 10 on TMDB from a much smaller base of about 460 users.
